The tradeshow was filled with exhibitors showcasing equipment, substrates, and products related to DTF printing, screen printing, embroidery, sublimation, and more apparel printing techniques. Forty workshops and conference seminars covering various topics and trends were also available to attendees, as well as networking opportunities and after-hours events. Mimaki showcased its 31.5-inch TxF150-75 direct-to-film inkjet press. The machine is Mimaki’s first DTF inkjet printer for the textile and apparel printing market. The company’s direct-to-film transfer is available for high-quality, short runs.SanMar is a wholesale distributor for apparel, bags, and caps with eight warehouses across the country with more than 5.6 million square feet total to house inventory. SanMar serves more than 99.7% of the country with one- or two-day delivery. The company offers blank apparel from providers such as Bella + Canvas, Gildan, American Apparel, Comfort Colors, Next Level Apparel, Hanes, and more.U.N.I.T.E. Together, a diversity and inclusion movement for the print industry and beyond, raised more than $2000 at its multiple booths at the tradeshow and ROQtoberfest (hosted at MADE Lab and Printed Thread). The proceeds will go directly to underprivileged schools interested in growing their art departments with new and used printing equipment. The M&R Quatro Direct-to-Film Transfer Printing System made its tradeshow debut at the GSG booth. The industrial inkjet printer is designed for direct-to-film printing and is the first of its kind from M&R. The company also distributes Hotronix and Maxx heat presses, which were on display and in action at the Fort Worth booth.Supacolor, a company that sells screen printed DTF transfers, highlighted the benefits of transfer printing throughout the tradeshow with free Texas-based T-shirts for attendees.Bella + Canvas brought an array of blank apparel to the show floor. Underground Threads didn’t have to go far to promote its business. The Fort Worth-based company offers high-quality DTF and DTG custom printing services for retail, wholesale, and contract orders. Underground Threads DTF prints performance wear, hats, can coolers, colored bags, polyester and more.Howard Custom Transfers is a heat transfer manufacturer dedicated to “empowering custom apparel decorators, screen printers, team sports dealers, promotional products distributors, and global retailers.” Owner Jeff Howard and his team spoke with attendees curious about full color digital transfers and the transfer printing process.Titan Jet American promoted its four-head, 24-inch Titan-Jet DTF printer. The company offers DTF consumables, printers, and heat presses. The Titan DTF printer is available in two, three, and four-head configurations.
