Roland DG has announced new features to the Roland DG Connect app. The app helps users gain a detailed understanding of their print operations while keeping their devices running at optimum performance, according to the company. The updates include a new feature that lets users remotely control important functions of their Roland DG inkjet printers, including turning the printer and heater on and off, circulating white ink, cleaning, and test printing. Plus, users can now modify the Roland DG Connect display screen to remotely monitor their printers’ operational status such as operating rate, printing progress, and remaining ink level.
Users of Roland DG’s direct-to-film printing devices (i.e., the VersaStudio BY-20) have access to the free plan as well as paid and premium plans that offer added features/functionality.
