American Apparel Expands with 11 New Styles

‘Craft the Culture’ campaign to help capture T-shirt memories.

Clothing retail company American Apparel is expanding its product offering with 12 new styles across five collections. These pieces aim to reaffirm American Apparel’s dedication to premium quality and style, according to the company.

Additionally, through “Craft the Culture,” American Apparel will work with artists through its multi-year collaboration as the official printwear partner at select Live Nation festivals throughout the US. The company’s goal is to “capture timeless t-shirt memories,” “deepen connections with music and festival fans,” and “ solidify American Apparel as the brand of choice for premium merch,” according to a release.

“We’re not just launching new products; we’re crafting meaningful experiences with and for our consumers, and thus letting them commemorate those cherished memories,” says Emma Budzisz, VP of Marketing at Gildan Activewear SRL. “American Apparel has always been more than a clothing brand. With Craft the Culture, we’re inviting people to join us in celebrating their own, unique individuality through their passions, like art and music.”
