Print & Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) – a not-for-profit, private, industry-directed organization that dispenses assistance to talented youth interested in graphic communications careers and pursuing education at technical colleges and universities – has awarded scholarships to 155 students attending 83 universities, colleges, and technical schools across the US.

For the 2023/2024 academic year, $525,000 has been awarded; the average individual scholarship is more than $3600. New scholarships were awarded to 67 full- and part-time students, and 88 students’ scholarships were renewed as they stayed in their program and maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better, according to PGSF.

“Working with PGSF students is a pleasure and a privilege,” says Debbie Bohan, Administrator of PGSF, in a release. “I strive to provide support and assistance to aid young adults as they navigate their post-secondary education and transition into the workforce. A highlight of my year is notifying our scholarship recipients of their renewable awards. I receive numerous heartwarming emails and letters of gratitude describing the impact their PGSF scholarship has on themselves, their families, and their futures. Without a doubt, the work we do changes and enriches lives and it is an honor to play my small part in this.”

PGSF received more than 1200 applications for scholarships, which is more than double than what was received last year. more than twice what we reviewed in 2022.
