About this tool
Turn fuzzy, low-resolution source files into crisp print-ready artwork. AI upscaling with detail preservation.
Compare image resolution with the intended print size
An image that looks sharp on a phone can look soft on a shirt. Upscaling creates a larger pixel image, but small text, detailed logos and repeated patterns need inspection because reconstructed detail may differ from the original. The best source file remains the best starting point.
How to use it
- Check the source image’s pixel dimensions and decide its intended width in inches.
- Upload the original file and run the resolution fixer.
- Inspect text, curves and texture in the result before placing it on a sheet.
A practical example
A 900-pixel-wide image printed at 3 inches has 300 pixels per inch. Printed at 10 inches, the same source has only 90 pixels per inch. Changing the DPI label alone does not add pixels.
Before you print
- Compare the processed version with the source rather than judging sharpness alone.
- Request vector artwork from the designer when exact logo geometry is essential.
- Recheck the intended print dimensions after importing into your RIP.
