U.N.I.T.E. Together is hosting a 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, January 20th, before the Impressions Expo at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California. Donations will sponsor student trips to SkillsUSA state and national-level competitions.
SkillsUSA is a US career and technical student organization serving more than 395,000 high school, college, and middle school students and professional members enrolled in training programs in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations, including those in the print industry.
There is a $1 minimum donation required to reserve your spot, but higher donations are appreciated. Sponsorship of team members is also available. All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged. This event is limited to 75 participants. Register for the 5k Fun Run/Walk here.
U.N.I.T.E. Together will be located in booth #3925. Stop by, hang out in the booth, take the pledge, donate and receive an Allmade T-shirt, and learn how you can help make the industry more diverse and inclusive.
This year’s raffle will also benefit students involved with SkillsUSA. At the booth, you can purchase raffle tickets to win an autographed guitar from ROQFest’s headliner Eve 6. Runners-up in the drawing will receive backstage passes to ROQFest. Other prizes include a Yeti cooler, products from ROQ.US and Ryonet, and more. Winners will be announced at ROQFest Saturday night.
