U.N.I.T.E. Together, a diversity and inclusion movement within the print industry, is hosting a yoga class at the Terrace in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center on the first day of the Printing United Expo tradeshow. On Tuesday, September 10 at 7 a.m., attendees can take part in a gentle Yoga class to meditate, stretch, and set intentions. A minimum $1 donation is required for entry. The first 100 registrants will receive a free towel mat provided by SanMar and printed by local print shop Stoked on Printing. RSVP for the yoga class here.
During the three-day tradeshow, U.N.I.T.E. Together will have a booth located in the Knowledge Center (#C4318). Attendees can heat press their own U.N.I.T.E. Together shirt and/or hat ($10 per shirt, $15 for a hat, $20 for both). Attendees can also make a donation at the Print’s Not Dead After Party on Wednesday, September 11 from 7-10 p.m. at the Punk Rock Museum. The event will have guided tours of exhibits and artifacts celebrating the history of punk music and culture, plus live performances from MDC and PTA (Punk Tribute Authority). Learn more and register here.
All donations for the Yoga class, shirts, and hats will go toward high schoolers who are competing in the SkillsUSA 2025 national competition.
U.N.I.T.E. Together has also announced the launch of the organization’s new logo, reflecting a broader commitment to diversity and inclusion. The new design aims to be more universally inclusive, embracing all communities within and beyond the print industry. This evolution aligns with U.N.I.T.E.’s mission to foster unity and equity for everyone, regardless of background, age, race, etc.
“We are proud to continue growing as a beacon of connection and solidarity for all,” says Ross Hunter, president of U.N.I.T.E. Together.
