DTF Ink, Film & Powder Cost Calculator
Work out what a print really costs in CMYK ink, white ink, film, and powder — per print and per square inch.
About this calculator
Enter your design size and coverage, your ink laydown and price per liter, your film roll, and your powder usage. The calculator returns the true consumable cost of a print, broken down by ink, film, and powder, plus how much of each a full run will use.
The most accurate laydown figures come from your own RIP: print a known-size job, read the ink used from the job log, and divide by the printed area. The starting values here are typical for desktop and 24″ roll DTF printers, but white ink density settings alone can swing the number by half.
Estimates only. This covers consumables — not labor, electricity, maintenance, or equipment payback. Use the Heat Press Labor and Printer ROI calculators for those.
