Compare the colors in a design together
A multicolor design can need more than one color adjustment. This tool builds variation grids from the colors in your artwork so you can compare several targets on one printed sheet. Review the chosen palette before export so antialiased edges or tiny background details do not distract from the colors you need to match.
How to use it
- Load your design and review the extracted palette.
- Generate variations for the colors you want to compare.
- Print and press the sheet, then record the best physical match for each color.
A practical example
For a logo with blue text and an orange symbol, compare both color grids on the same garment and under the same lighting. Adjusting one color should not hide a mismatch in the other.
Before you print
- Use the final artwork palette as your starting point.
- Keep the final print settings consistent with the test sheet.
